License and Legitimacy: Is Elijah Services Electrical Legit?
Yes, by the records. Elijah Services Electrical holds Texas electrical contractor license EC-39122, issued to ELIJAH SERVICES LLC, status Active, expiring May 3, 2027. The license was originally issued May 3, 2024. The master electrician of record is Travis Joseph Magruder (license 661788, expiring March 21, 2027). Best In MoCo verified this by direct lookup in TDLR's LicenseSearch on October 12, 2026. An Active status means the company is legally authorized to perform electrical work in Texas.
Three record details are worth knowing before you hire, stated here as plain facts. First, the master electrician's own license expires March 21, 2027, which is sooner than the contractor license's May 2027 expiry. Texas requires the master of record to hold a current license, so both records are worth rechecking yourself before you hire, especially for work scheduled after March 2027.
Second, the TDLR record lists 14543 105 West Suite 605, Conroe TX 77304, and the phone (936) 537-1660. Both match the address and phone the company publishes, and the address also matches the company's BBB profile. The public records line up with the company's own information.
Third, the license is young. The original issue date of May 3, 2024 makes it the newest contractor license among the three Willis finalists, which is the main reason Longevity scored 4 out of 10. A young license is not a violation. It means the company has a shorter documented track record than its competitors, and this guide treats that as a fact for you to weigh, not as a verdict.
As with any contractor, TDLR records change over time. Recheck the license yourself before hiring.
What Elijah Services Electrical Does
The following comes only from the company's own website, elijahserviceselectrical.com, which Best In MoCo confirmed live. Elijah Services Electrical is a residential and commercial electrician. Named services include whole home standby generators (installation and maintenance), lighting installations, electrical panel upgrades, electrical inspections, repairs and installation of outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures, wiring services, fan installation, smoke detectors, surge protection installation, EV charger installation, and outdoor lighting.
The company states that it is licensed and insured. Its stated service area covers Montgomery County (Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring) and Harris County (Spring, Tomball, Cypress), with lighting work also naming Katy, Cypress, Kingwood, and The Woodlands. Contact runs through (936) 537-1660.
One plain fact about coverage: Willis is not named explicitly on the company's site. The company describes its area as Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, and surrounding areas across Montgomery, Harris, and Fort Bend counties. Homeowners in Willis should confirm coverage for their address when they call.
What the Review Data Shows
Best In MoCo pulled the 18 newest Google reviews for Elijah Services Electrical. Seventeen are 5 stars and one is 1 star, for a pulled average of 4.78. The full Google footprint is 70 reviews at a 4.9-star average. The newest pulled review is dated September 22, 2026 and the oldest May 1, 2025. Three of the pulled reviews fall inside the last 90 days, which is why Review Recency scored 7 out of 10, the highest recency score among the three Willis finalists. The single one-star review in the pull is why Satisfaction scored 19.6 out of 20 instead of a perfect 20.
Sentiment analysis on the pulled reviews found 49 positive markers against 2 negative markers, a net of +47. That ratio drove Attribute Sentiment to 12.1 out of 15. Review topics were counted across the pull, 41 mentions in total, counted one per review per topic:
| Topic | Mentions |
|---|---|
| Professionalism | 8 |
| Communication | 7 |
| Recommendations | 6 |
| Punctuality | 5 |
| Friendliness | 4 |
| Fair pricing | 4 |
| Thoroughness | 2 |
| Panel work | 2 |
| Honesty and trust | 2 |
| Generator work | 1 |
Three patterns stand out in these Elijah Services Electrical reviews. First, professionalism and communication lead. With 8 and 7 of 41 mentions, customers describe a crew they find skilled and easy to talk to. That pairing suits homeowners who want to understand the work being done, not just have it done.
Second, fair pricing is a visible theme. Four mentions of fair or reasonable pricing, sitting alongside the quoting patterns seen on the other Willis finalists, describes a company whose customers notice what the job costs. That pattern suits homeowners who want a clear price before work begins.
Third, generator work (1) with panel work (2) gives the guide its most specific service signal. The counts are small, but they match the standby-generator focus the company leads with on its own site, and they give the review data a concrete connection to the advertised specialty.
No Yelp profile exists for the company, so Google carries the full weight of the analysis.
BBB Record
The BBB profile for Elijah Services LLC carries an A+ rating, and the company is BBB accredited, with 0 complaints on file. Accreditation means the company has committed to the BBB's standards for trust. It is voluntary, it is not a government endorsement, and many legitimate companies never seek it. The profile lists a business start date of June 20, 2023, and shows two Conroe locations: 14543 Highway 105 W Ste 605 and 3915 W Davis St Ste 130. The first matches the TDLR record and the company's published address. The profile phone (936) 537-1660 matches the TDLR record and the company's site. Every public record carries the same phone number.
Company Background
The BBB lists a start date of June 20, 2023, making the business about three years old. The current TDLR contractor license was originally issued May 3, 2024, making the license about two years old. Company age and license age measure different things, and this guide reports both.
The company is based at 14543 Hwy 105 W Ste 605, Conroe, TX 77304, which matches the TDLR license record, and its published phone is (936) 537-1660, which also matches. The master electrician of record is Travis Joseph Magruder. The company's site describes decades of combined team experience; the records show a company founded in 2023. Both are stated as they appear. Nothing here goes beyond what the records and the company's own site state.
Best Fit
Elijah Services Electrical may be worth considering if you are a homeowner in the Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, or Willis area looking for standby generator installation, panel upgrades, wiring, or EV charger work from a newer company with the freshest review activity among the Willis finalists. The communication and fair-pricing pattern suits customers who want to understand the work and the price before it starts. Confirm Willis coverage for your address when you call, since the company's site names Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, and Cypress rather than Willis.
How Elijah Compares in Willis
Best In MoCo scored the Willis-area pool. The three published finalists are Roa Electrical Services at 83.2, Elijah Services Electrical at 80.0, and Cooper Electric at 77.2. Elijah sits 3.2 points behind the winner and 2.8 points ahead of third place in Best In MoCo's Willis electricians ranking.
Elijah's differentiators start with recency. The newest review in the pull is dated September 22, 2026, the most recent review activity any of the three finalists produced, and Recency scored 7 out of 10 against Roa's 5 and Cooper's 2. Elijah is also the only BBB-accredited finalist, carrying an A+ rating with 0 complaints on file. And the generator thread, small in the review counts but front and center on the company's site, gives Elijah the clearest specialty signal of the three for backup-power work.
The gap to a higher score sits in two categories. Longevity scored 4 out of 10 because the company is the youngest finalist by both company age and license age; Cooper's 10 out of 10 in the same category shows what a long track record buys. Satisfaction scored 19.6 out of 20 because the single one-star review in the pull kept it from the perfect 20 that Roa earned. Everything else scored at or near the top of its scale, including a perfect 10 for Complaint/Risk with no complaints on file anywhere checked.
