Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Best in MoCo collects, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.

Last updated: September 2026

What we collect

When you submit a correction or a ranking appeal, we collect the information you provide in the form: the business name the submission concerns, the details of your claim, and, optionally, your contact name, contact email, and a link to the relevant page. Providing contact information is never required to submit.

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or account credentials, because this site does not have accounts or paid services.

How we use it

Submission information is used for one purpose: the review workflow that follows up on corrections and appeals. A reviewer may contact you to clarify your submission or to confirm that an error has been fixed. We do not add submitters to marketing lists and we do not use submissions for any other purpose.

What we never do

  • We never publish the identity of a submitter.
  • We never sell personal data.
  • We never send personally identifying information to analytics.

Analytics

We measure site usage in aggregate to understand which pages are read and which categories are useful. This measurement is non-identifying: it tells us that a page was viewed, not who viewed it. We do not build advertising profiles or track visitors across other websites.

Local storage and cookies

This site uses only the minimal browser storage and cookies needed for basic functionality, such as remembering interface preferences during a visit. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the last-updated date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect how submissions are handled will be described clearly rather than buried in fine print.

How to reach us

Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page, which lists the right channel for each kind of request.
